The New Zealand Kiwis snatched a 14-12 win over Samoa at Toll Stadium, Whangarei on Saturday. 

Newcastle Knight Joey Leilua scored a try in the 44th minute for Samoa with teammate Dave Fa'alogo captaining the side. 

Samoa maintained a lead over New Zealand for the majority of the match, but was outdone when the Kiwis scored a try in the 75th minute.
