Flood Appeal
On March 20, 2022, the Knights used their home game as an opportunity to support those affected by the worst recorded flooding disaster in the eastern states.
Over 23,000 fans attended the game at McDonald Jones Stadium, helping to raise a total of $116,000 for the Red Cross NSW and QLD Flood Appeal.
The Knights pledged to donate $5 for every person that passed through the gates, and fans were quick to show their support. The funds raised went towards providing crucial aid to the northern neighbours who had been impacted by the floods.
The Knights' initiative demonstrated the power of sports in bringing communities together and rallying support for those in need.
