Today the Club farewells David Bhana, who joined the nib Newcastle Knights in 2016.

The 24-year-old, who began his playing career with the New Zealand Warriors’ NYC side, made his first grade debut with the Knights in Round 1 of the 2016 season before going on to record seven NRL appearances.

Starting the 2017 season in Reserve Grade, the hard-working forward unfortunately suffered a season ending knee injury in Round 7.

An affable personality, Bhana was always an enthusiastic participant in community work with the Club.

In 2013, Bhana claimed representative honours with the junior Kiwis and that same year was announced in the NYC team of the year.
