Newcastle Knights NYC coach Mick Crawley awarded his Coach's Award to Lachlan Fitzgibbon at the Club Awards Night last Thursday for an outstanding season of consistent form.
"It's an honour and always good to be recognised by the coaching staff," Fitzgibbon told Knights TV.
The young Knight has been given the opportunity to commence pre-season training with the first grade squad in November and is focused on taking his football to the next level in 2015.
"I'll see where I go from there, I'll probably play a few games with Cup and will hopefully progress on from Cup."
