The rollover of the annual bank guarantee between the Hunter Sports Group and the Knights Members Club is due on March 31, 2014.
There are a number of rumours and speculations surrounding the Club and we wish to clarify the following:
- The bank guarantee is due for renewal on March 31 and will be in place by the due date.
- Employee wages for the month of March have been processed.
- There is no marquee player payment outstanding however the Club will continue to explore additional sponsorship opportunities to retain all marquee players.
- Player superannuation continues to be paid on an ongoing basis.
It is continually frustrating to respond to rumour which is why the Club won’t be making further comment.
